Draycote Water Sailing Club prides itself on being a professionally run club offering high level facilities by a team of permanent staff, meaning that all our member’s have to do is turn up and sail!
We cater for all sailors and windsurfers, so whether you are at beginner or advanced stages (we have members at national and international levels), young or old, want to race or sail leisurely, our Club has something for you.
Our active and involved committee are always on the ball with improvements and developments for the club to keep us at the forefront of the British sailing scene.
The Club has over 50 boats for our members to hire which also includes kit if required, including wet suits, spray top, buoyancy aid and helmet.
We recognise that buying a boat is a big commitment for those new to sailing, and hiring boats is an ideal way to try a variety before you do take that step.
Alternatively, if you are planning to sail regular than an Annual Boat Hire Package would be more beneficial which entitles members to unlimited boat hire all year round for one fee.
£15 per session – Picos, Teras, Fusions, Lasers, Toppers, Zests, Solo, Hartley 12s, Windsurf boards (non-planing)
£20 per session – Fevas
£25 per session – Wayfarers, Bahias, Dart 16
Our Sprint 15, Flying Fifteen and Fireball fleets also have boats available to hire by prior arrangement with the relevant fleet captain.

Up to 2 adults and children living at the same address, children must be 18 or under at the beginning of the membership year.

(This includes social membership of the supporters club for up to 2 parents/guardians.)

Boat registration fees for all boats and boards that are launched are Draycote. Includes boat storage in our large boat park and trailer storage in our secure trailer park.

Launch and storage fee for boats or boards sailed 90% of the time by juniors up to the age of 18.

Launch and storage fee for boats or boards.

Launch and storage fee for boats or boards registered and sailed 90% of the time by members of the Family Membership (which is charged at twice the adult boat/board fee).
If you haven’t sailed or windsurfed for a while and just want to refresh your skills before heading out on the water, take a look at our refresher days, taster sessions and training courses.
Day Tickets are available to non-members to sail or windsurf and enjoy the benefits of the Club with one day temporary membership, for just £25.
Visit the Chandlery or Office on arrival to make payment, be briefed about the site and be given necessary access codes.
Please note:
Winter Membership is available from November to March each year and is ideal for sailors whose home club closes during this period
