If you are nervous about making your first foray into racing then we have two new initiatives to help you.

On the First Sunday of each month we will be having an extra start in the start sequence for Novices and Juniors etc. You will be able to learn the skills involved in racing without the pressure of the fleet starts. It is open to all members, club boats are available free of charge (book early with Dave), and there is on the water coaching. It’s a great way to get into racing. The first date for your diary is Sunday 4th May.

Secondly we have at the club one of the top Olympic Team GB coaches in Steve Irish. He has offered to share his knowledge of Race Tactics by giving a talk on Friday 9th May. Bar will be open so enjoy a drink and improve your race performance at the same time.
