Improvers Group
A relaxed group sailing session for new and novice sailors to get regular practise in a friendly, and supportive environment. The session will be led by an experienced Club sailor who will be sailing the course with you, and it is not an instructor led or a formal coaching session.
After sailing the wetbar and bar will be open to grab food and drinks. It’s a good opportunity to debrief from the session, ask questions, and build sailing friendships.
We meet at 10.00am on the patio to chat through the weather conditions and plan a course accordingly. Please arrive in time to get changed beforehand.
Sessions are free with your own boat, or £7.50 to hire Club boats (we don’t pre-book boats and they are hired on a first-come-first-served basis).
These sessions officially run weekly from April to October, though we also run sessions through the winter if the weather is suitable. Please ask the group leader for details of the WhatsApp chat where this is discussed and arranged.
There is also an Improver Group on Friday evenings.
