At Draycote we offer RYA Powerboat level 1 and 2, and Safety boat certificates. Our fleet of powerboats offer a perfect opportunity to learn new skills and gain experience in a range of craft.
Please note that PB2 Inland certificate does not automatically qualify you for an ICC without either a coastal endorsement or CEVNI test for inland waters being completed in addition to this course.
Pre-course information will be sent out approximately 7 days before the course start date. You do not need to be a member of the sailing club to take part in an RYA course.
A minimum number of students may apply to each course.
The RYA powerboat level one and two is a 2 day course covering the essentials of power boating.
Including the use and handling of tiller and steering wheel RIBs. For those with no experience or those wishing to gain a qualifications.
This course covers the skills and techniques to provide effective safety cover to racing dinghies, cruising boats, kayakers and other water users.
Conducted mostly on the water by a skilled instructor over 2 days.
