We are thrilled to have been awarded the RYA Young Person’s Club of the Year and Overall Club of the Year in recognition of all our hard work in introducing new and young sailors to the sport and also developing an excellent pathway into racing.

We must give thanks to Jon Hughes & volunteers for their years of hard work leading our Youth & Juniors every week, to Dave Rowe for creating and driving our successful Academy programme with Steve Irish which puts Draycote at the forefront of race training, to our Committee for having the forward thinking mindset that these youngsters are the future of our Club, to Jeremy Atkins for his many efforts to ensure our Club gets the recognition we deserve, and also to the many parents who bring their kids each week to Draycote & take them over hill and dale to events representing Draycote across the country (and world!).
