From beginners through to instructors, our wide range of courses and activities has something for everyone.

We're an RYA Approved Club

The RYA (Royal Yachting Association) is the governing body for boating in the UK and they oversee all training centres to make sure courses are run in accordance with their guidelines and syllabuses.

This means you can be confident that all of our courses are professionally run to the highest standards.

Club membership is not required for any of our courses or activities

Powerboat Course

Getting your powerboat licence is the first step to chartering boats on holiday, or to be qualified for staff and volunteer roles

Learn all the skills and techniques required to provide effective safety cover in a range of situations and crafts

Instructor Course

Offering both Dinghy Instructor and Powerboat Instructor courses so you can be teaching students in no time

Shore Based Courses

Including RYA First Aid training and Safe & Fun to support professional roles, plus Day Skipper Theory for the adventurous sailor

Stand up Paddleboarding

Paddleboarding is a relaxing activity for days with low-wind, and we have the option to either hire our boards or bring your own board

Private Lessons

Sessions are run by an RYA instructor and can be tailored to your training needs. Ideal for people returning to the sport or looking to brush up on specific skills. Flexible dates between April to October for sailing and windsurfing, can be for small groups or 1:1, and your own craft can be used.

Group Sessions

We can host corporate team days, school groups and social groups (e.g. Women’s Institute, Scouts, Brownies) for a Mixed Watersport activity with Sailing and/or Windsurfing that can be tailored to your group. Available from April to October and evening sessions between May to July.
