Club racing at Draycote is a mixture of fleet and handicap racing every Sunday, and Wednesday evenings in the Summer.
A different and varied course is used each week with a sailing round the cans format using our 18 permanent race marks plus movable marks can be used.
We are proud to have such a healthy turnout to weekly club racing that we are able to have fleet starts. The schedule linked gives all the timings.

A bank holiday series with the series winner being crowned Club Champion.
All Club pursuit Races are free to DWSC members, and just £10 for visitors from other Clubs.
Some events are in support of the RNLI or Air Ambulance and we ask for donations on those events.
Race duties at Draycote are rostered using DutyMan system. Only members (aged 16+) who have raced in the previous season will be on the duty roster, and with the new automated start system there are only 1-2 duties required per season.
We have 18 permanent race marks at Draycote, known as blue ‘cans’ that are used for Club racing.
