The AGM was well attended on Wednesday night – thank you so much to all those that came. But inevitably most of our members could not attend and so we have put the Committee’s report on the website so you can see what was said: Committee Report

There are two things that were discussed at the meeting which I would like to highlight:

1 – Membership

While the Club is in a healthy financial state due to our commercial activity, it is imperative that we increase our membership. This is a high priority for the Committee and staff, but we are looking for one or two people to help us in this work – to develop strategies and plans to help boost our membership. If you feel you could help in this area, please talk to me or Dave Rowe.

2 – Leadership Team

The existing Flag Officers have been in post for some considerable time and we need to start bringing people on to take over these roles. Please consider if you would like to help run the Club. Fortunately, with such an excellent staff team, it is less about ‘doing’ than it was a few years ago and more about leadership, strategy and decision making. Again, if you would like to know more, please talk to me or Dave Rowe.
