RIB Engine Theft

Back in the middle of May we had 3 RIB engines stolen during the night.  The thieves used angle grinders to cut the engines off and thus avoided the boat alarm system.  Despite being caught on CCTV there wasn’t enough the police could work with.

Many thanks though to AC Outboards and our insurance company for getting it all sorted so quickly.  New engines were delivered this week so we’re back to full working order. Matt and Ethan have been looking at upgrading the alarm system that will offer better protection.

The next round of the Northamptonshire Youth Series is on this Saturday at Hollowell. If you need more info, or help with boats, please call Dave by Thursday.

Feva Inlands

Registration for the Feva Inlands this weekend is open until tomorrow (22nd June). We’re currently looking to welcome approx. 25 Fevas on Saturday & Sunday. 

Junior Summer Courses

Summer sailing courses start from 18th July with a variety of courses for all levels.  If you have friends & family’s children looking to learn to sail or needing a summer activity, let them know as spaces are filling up quickly now.

Final reminder – trailer park tags

The summer season is picking up pace and will soon fly by.  The trailer park is the first job earmarked for autumn and so any trailers not labelled will be disposed of.  Trailer tags can be collected from the shop.

RYA Regional Junior Champs

An excellent weekend of sailing from may of our juniors, and great to see some new faces joining in.

Imogen & Felicity won the Feva fleet, Jess Powell was top of the Topper fleet, and William Shaw came first in the Topper Regatta Fleet.
