It’s been a mixed bag of weather this June, though hopefully something for everybody!
The website calendar has also been updated to show all events scheduled for the rest of the year – Autumn is looking nice and busy again with several Open Meetings booked!
Race duties/DutyMan – we have lots of outstanding duties for people to respond to. Please log in and update DutyMan to confirm your availability or arrange swaps – now that events and courses are back at weekends, staff will be unable to step in if OD’s don’t turn up.

Wet Bar Reopening
The wet bar has reopened on Sunday’s only and with a limited menu of hot/cold drinks and snacks (cakes, chocolate bars etc). There will be no hot food, including bacon rolls, until we have found a cook.
We are on the urgent look out for catering staff for the wet bar, and also for more bar staff. If you are interested or know anyone suitable, please contact Dave Rowe.
A busy weekend!
This weekend, Draycote was represented up and down the country with sailors at Notts county for Topper Midlands Champs, Burton SC for the Tera Inlands, Lasers at Stokes bay, and 420s at Weymouth. A special mention to our juniors at Hollowell for the Northampton youth series, which for many was their first event and first time sailing away from Draycote, and they did us proud.
Well done all.
Ellie Craig finished 3rd in the Ports of Plymouth Regatta, and Edward Higson finished 6th in the Waszp UK Nationals at Rutland.
