On Friday we welcomed our local Mayor, Cllr Deepah Roberts, to open the refurbished ladies changing rooms with our Junior Commodore, Millie Irish.

The refurbishment started by stripping the entire changing rooms, showers & toilet area. The space was divided into 2 rooms for event flexibility, with sloped flooring and drainage being fitted, as well as new windows, heating & ventilation system, showers and cubicles, disabled toilet and access, and finished with redecorating and modern new benches and storage racks.

Many thanks to Sport England for supporting the project with a grant of £20,000.
