MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
Thank you to everyone who has renewed already.
If you usually pay by bank transfer, please check your emails for details that were sent out on 1st April.
If you usually pay by card, please login to WebCollect or pay at the Club.
Direct Debit membership should be processed from your accounts on Thursday.
Email office@draycotewater.co.uk if you have any issues, changes or queries.
Remember to pick up your car stickers, boat stickers or windsurf pennants, and a trailer tag if needed.
SPRING PURSUIT RACES
IMPROVER GROUP
Many thanks to Ian Moore for leading our first Improver Group for new members.
We’re still looking for experienced sailors to help lead these sessions. Please chat with Dave if you’re able to help out.
You’ll be sailing a simple course with them, answering questions, and generally making them feel welcome to the Club.
BEQUESTS TO THE CLUB
Have you thought about leaving a gift in your will to Draycote Water Sailing Club Ltd.? Doing so would help our club secure its future.
If you have already made a will, then you can either re-write it to include a gift to The Draycote Water Sailing Club Ltd., or, more simply, you can create a ‘codicil’ that will add your wishes to the existing document. Because we are constituted as a Community Amateur Sports Club, there should be no inheritance tax liabilities on any bequests made to the club.

If you do decide to make a bequest to the club, it would help us if you could inform us that you are doing so. It may be that you wish to leave a legacy for a particular project or activity. There is no need to specify the amount that will be given; simply that a gift will be made. This indication to the club will not be legally binding, and of course you may change your mind at any time with or without letting the club know. It simply indicates your current intentions.
